More Practical Than A Plaque On A Real Boulder

Mounting plaques on natural boulders has always been a favorite way to memorialize special individuals, groups and events. However, the effort involved with obtaining one or more real rocks of appropriate size isn't easy.

The big challenge is to find any rocks, much less attractive ones with a flat surface for a plaque. Then securing and relocating them is required along with a crane or other heavy equipment, manpower and lots of planning to move and install a typical 800-1,000 lb. specimen.

A better way is to order Valley Monuments' GFRC cast stones which weigh just 80-100 lbs., but are exact replications of ones that weigh hundreds more. They are the affordable commemorative opportunity that gives potential major donors a greater reason to want to contribute more than what they might ordinarily for a living tree or an engraved brick, tile or name on a crowded donor wall.

Your Fundraising Campaign Can Begin Sooner!

Compared to other forms of donor recognition that can take many months to plan, campaigns raising funds from selling our Recognition Rocks™ can begin almost immediately.

The benefit of using a product designed to be displayed outdoors is that most university campuses, zoos, museums, churches and other institutions usually already have spacious and well-landscaped areas that can be effortlessly converted into "Donor Paths" or "Donor Trails."

And if a Recognition Rock™ campaign exceeds a fundraiser's expectations, space to accommodate additional donors on a "Donor Walk" project--now or in the future--is substantially more flexible compared to the limitations of a donor wall or other traditional commemorative opportunity.

Once suitable locations have been identified, installation arrangements finalized and display samples ordered to show to potential donors (we provide other marketing support as well), fundraisers are certain to find this new, back-to-nature commemorative opportunity will quickly outpace the results of past fundraising efforts.
